Our
History
The Hunter Chefs
& Co Network first started to meet early 2006. Several
established Executive chefs were brought together to bring all the
chefs, food suppliers together and found they enjoyed the
interaction with like minded people on a professional and personal
level. They continued to meet on a monthly basis to set about
establishing a regional food network.
Today sees the
HC&Co functioning as an incorporated body with a committee and
a ever growing membership base.
HC&Co is an
industry driven network the driving force behind this network
being the passion and commitment of the local food industry. This
commitment is central to the success of the association.
Our
Structure
HC&Co committee
meet on the monthly at selected venues around the Valley. This is
a forum to keep the momentum going and so our PR company Helen
Duncan Promotions have news to tell everyone about. We aim to have
6 weekly lunches or dinners to network as well as hearing from
Educational speakers, Member Businesses and the Venue Host. It is
frequently used for taste testing a members new product or hearing
about how different businesses operate. HC&Co is governed by
an Executive Committee comprising of 6 people including a
Chairperson, vice chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and committee
members
