Lazzarini’s
has a charming elegance that diners love and when matched with the authentic
Italian menu designed by Executive Chef Nick Vivian, a night of a classic
flavours and relaxed atmosphere is in store.
Using
the best flavours of the season, Nick caters for all tastes and throws his
special connection with Italian cuisine together with local produce from
surrounding farmland. The menu features all your favourite Italian dishes like
fresh homemade pasta, gnocchi and famous slow roasted pork which are then
turned into exquisite meals through the use of black olives, rosemary,
pancetta, gorgonzola, and gourmet mushrooms.
Bringing
the taste sensations of Italy to your table, Nick is able to take you into the
world that he is passionate about and inspired by. Sunday through to Friday
nights the al a carte menu is available and you should try the Zuppa di pesce
per due. A stunning light broth with fresh seafood, tomato, white wine,
garlic, chilli and herbs, served with bruschetta for two. A delightful
experience that should be taken advantage of when available.
Saturday
nights the ‘Italian Feast’ will knock you off your feet as Nick has
prepared a five course degustation menu that will not disappoint. It is the
ultimate dining experience and each course can be matched with wines. You
start with house baked bread, followed by an appetiser and entrée of your
choice, a cleansing sorbet before your selected main and desert, and espresso
coffee with fresh biscotti. However if your day of indulgence has not left
room for five courses, a three course option is available.
Stunning and colourful artwork lines the walls of the restaurant and provides a warm and romantic feel to the room. You can dine at Lazzarini’s, located at Tallawanta Lodge, seven nights a week.
