THE CELLAR RESTAURANT

The Cellar Restaurant is the quintessential essence of the Hunter Valley image and has been so for almost 30 years.

The sandstone building is the perfect venue for enjoying a leisurely long lunch as you marvel at the vineyard and wisteria views through the surrounding glass windows. It is the perfect location when you’re looking to take a step away from the buzz of the Hunter Valley Gardens Village.

Of an evening the softening candle light highlights the lush interior gardens, and the newly installed bar area and furnishings offer a couple romance, a group of friends atmosphere and a bride and groom magic.

London born owner and executive chef Andy Wright and his wife and restaurant manager Janet, have worked hard on restoring the building as those who have been dining there for years have always enjoyed the restaurant’s atmosphere.

The design of the menu brings Andy’s European training together with his love of local fresh produce. The use of classic flavours mixed with Andy’s unique own twists leaves the palate with just enough room to enjoy a wine chosen from the extensive wine list.

At The Cellar Restaurant it is their knowledge of how important the food and wine marriage is, that makes this the place not to miss when coming to the Hunter Valley.

The Cellar Restaurant is open for lunch every day, and for dinner Monday through to Saturday. Bookings are highly recommended.
